What soft launch means

A working release built around revision.

SAM's soft launch is not a declaration that every surface is finished. It is an operating phase in which the site and product are repeatedly reviewed, tested, revised, and rewritten as real use shows what needs to change.

The language, visual system, and interactions are being matured for an adult audience. Games are treated as intentional social spaces for competition, cooperation, conversation, and long-term progression, and are held to the same product standards as the rest of SAM.
